Personal Backup is a single-user utility. Its only user is its owner.
It uses Google's drive.file permission, which allows access only to files the utility itself creates in the owner's Google Drive. It cannot see, read or change any other file.
It uses that access to copy the owner's own backup files to the owner's Google Drive and to restore them. It does nothing else with Google data.
Data is stored only in the owner's Google Drive and on the owner's own server.
Nothing is shared with, sold to, or used by anyone else. No analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind.
The owner can delete the files in Google Drive at any time, and can remove the utility's access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
